12 Solos Inspired by Nature's Creatures

Step into a world where every note tells a story and every solo is an adventure!

Inspired by the success and popularity of my previous beginner’s solo
Leopard’s Pursuit - commissioned by Diversify the Stand for their progressive solo book Winds of ChangeAdventures of the Wild is a 12-part musical journey designed to ignite the imagination, build confidence, and develop strong fundamental skills in young musicians. Featuring engaging solos inspired by epic landscapes, daring quests, and the thrill of discovery, this book transforms routine practice into an exciting experience that keeps students motivated from start to finish.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is a consortium? In a consortium, multiple people or groups have the opportunity to contribute to a new piece of music for exclusive benefits at a price considerably lower than a traditional commission. One individual or group typically makes a higher payment to serve as the leader of the consortium, and that individual or group typically holds the privilege of giving the world premiere(s). This consortium's leader is yours truly!

Do I have to be a trumpet player to join? No, but this version of the book will be written specifically for trumpet. Anyone who wishes to support this project can join and will receive the same benefits, whether they play the instrument or not.

How old do I have to be to join? There are no age limits to join the consortium, but persons under the age of 18 will be asked to have a parent, guardian, or teacher submit on their behalf.

Will this book be for sale to the public once it's complete? Yes, but not immediately. After the last piece is released and the consortium ends on June 1st, 2026, the piece will re-enter the market for sale to the general public on August 1st, 2026.

Will Leopard's Pursuit be included in this book? Although plans are subject to change, Leopard's Pursuit is currently available exclusively in Diversify the Stand's Winds of Change. However, since Winds of Change is offered as a bonus for joining this consortium, every consortium member will get direct access to Leopard's Pursuit as well.

Do I have to perform the pieces if I join the consortium? Nope! There will be no requirement for consortium participants to perform the pieces during the exclusivity period, or at all.

Does the email list discount apply to consortium purchases? Yes! Members of my email list can use their 5% discount code when joining the consortium to receive up to $12.50 off. Visit the home page to sign up for my email list.

Can I gain or use rewards points when joining this consortium? Of course! If you have created a free account on my website, your purchase will earn rewards points just like any other sheet music purchase. You may also use previously-obtained rewards points for a discounted purchase. Click here to create a free account and gain rewards points.
